With print becoming more customized and elaborate, there is a high demand for adding variable elements on top of the existing designs. With X-800's MetaData functionality, every Xeikon printer can easily implement simple variable text or numbers without the need to invest in extra prepress tools or without long and complex job preparation cycles.
MetaData is included with the Xeikon X-800 Digital Front-End. It's fully integrated with the printing process, which provides you with a lot of added value in comparison with alternative variable data tools. Variable elements are generated during the printing process, eliminating the need to wait for data preparation in prepress departments. It also offers you full flexibility for last-minute corrections or additions of extra records.
