BookBaby, one of the leading book self-publishing companies in the US recently celebrated the installation of its second Xeikon SX30000 full color roll-fed printing press. Installed just 4 months after its first Xeikon press came on-stream, the ramp up of the second roll-fed press means that at present close to 80% of BookBaby’s printed books are printed on Xeikon presses.

DIY Media Group CEO Tony van Veen stated, “The installation of our first SX30000 press was a major milestone for BookBaby, since it was the start of us transitioning from a sheetfed to a roll-fed printing operation. We were so happy with the ramp up process and color quality that we accelerated the installation of the second press by several months.”
