Xeikon Impactor, a stand-alone application, generates asymmetric imposition schemes that can be used in the X-800 workflow. The software comes with an intuitive user interface to help the operator define JDF-based imposition templates that can be imported in X-800's imposition module.
Reduce substrate use and production costs with Xeikon Impactor. This software is a stand-alone application that can be used to create imposition schemes to combine sheets of different formats in an asymmetric fashion on the printing web. Via an easy and user-friendly interface, Impactor helps you create your own imposition schemes. You can even use it to generate very complex schemes and combinations.
The resulting templates can be used in the X-800 layout processor. The layout templates are independent of job-specific settings like signature size and cell size. These parameters can be specified directly in X-800.
